It is also the replacement for Kenmore part numbers 46-9911, 9911, and 9916 for Kenmore refrigerators manufactured by Frigidaire. This filter fits all front-cassette models of Frigidaire refrigerators. It reduces chlorine taste and odor as well as sediment and removes 99 percent of cysts, lead, and turbidity, but it does not remove fluoride. It features slide-in-and-out technology for easy replacement. It's recommended that users replace the filter every nine months.

This filter may have resin visible in the filter casing. The resin is created in the sonic weld process and is NSF approved.
